RH Acres is owned and operated by myself and my family. My name is Amy Weaver and I am truly a native of Socastee, along with my two children. My husband is Ron, also known as “Ratt” by friends and family…a nickname he grew into as a little “key rat” on Key Biscayne, Florida. After moving to Surfside Beach in 1988 and founding Glasstec in 1990, Ratt purchased this property in 1995 and it became home to Glasstec. In 2002, he began hosting the Rat Hole Motorcycle Rodeo during the Spring and Fall Harley Davidson rallies with his Rat Hole partner and friend, Buster Brown. We’ve also hosted several family friendly traditional western rodeos, bull rides and Hispanic rodeos, or concerta rodeos. The Weavers are always looking for fun and adventure! Whether it’s hunting, fishing, archery, barrel racing, trick riding, surfing, skateboarding or who knows what, we like big fun…and big trucks! The property is still home to Glasstec year round and the Rat Hole Rodeo twice a year. In 2014, our family decided to expand the facilities on the property to make it the most unique, diverse, and comfortable venue for festivals, special events, and parties in the area….indoor or outdoor, big or small, classy or trashy…RH Acres is not just for bike week anymore! We will continue to make RH Acres history every day…
